Candy Cane Lick’n Crunch!® Wins Pet Innovation’s “Dog Cookie Product of the Year”
Three Dog Bakery® Candy Cane Lick’n Crunch!® is a spin on the company’s classic golden vanilla
sandwich crème cookies. The Candy Cane variety fills the vanilla-flavored crème with red flecks of
candy cane so that furry family members can also enjoy all the festive fun during the “season to be
jolly!”
The resulting treat is a combination of crunchy and creamy textures that creates an engaging snack
experience for dogs. The sweet vanilla aroma creates canine excitement, while the festive
appearance adds a touch of holiday cheer to every treat occasion.
Ingredients include enriched wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oil, baking powder, natural vanilla flavor,
lecithin, annatto extract and vegetable juice for color, and peppermint oil. The cooke uses only all
natural flavors. Each treat offers 4% of crude protein, 2% crude fiber, and 14% crude fat. Every
ingredient is pup-friendly, and Three Dog Bakery follows AAFCO (Association of American Feed
Control Officials) guidelines for all treats and packages.
In addition, the company uses natural preservatives, such as citric acid and mixed tocopherols, to
slow spoilage and safely increase shelf life. Tocopherols are a family of vitamin E compounds
found naturally in vegetable oils, nuts, fish, and leafy green vegetables.
