DOGust the 1st*, was designated as the universal birthday for shelter dogs with unknown birthdates by North Shore Animal League America so that every dog could celebrate a birthday. In honor of that special day, on August 1st, each of our bakeries across the globe will take a large bone cake to their favorite local rescue or shelter so that the pups can celebrate their birthday, and it is the kick-off of our month-long DOGust celebrations.
