Ingredients
Are the ingredients safe for my dog?
We love dogs like you love dogs, so we ensure that every ingredient that goes into our treats is pup-friendly. We follow AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) guidelines for all our treats and packages.
Where are your ingredients sourced?
We source ingredients from the United States of America (U.S.A.) whenever possible. In some instances, however, it is necessary for us to find ingredients from outside of the U.S.A. due to lack of domestic production and/or higher quality options abroad. We source raw materials only from countries and suppliers where there are reliable safety procedures in place.
Do you use preservatives?
We use natural preservatives, such as citric acid and mixed tocopherols, to slow spoilage and safely increase the shelf life of our treats, so your dogs can enjoy them longer. Tocopherols are a family of vitamin E compounds found naturally in vegetable oils, nuts, fish, and leafy green vegetables.
Can humans eat the treats?
Many of our treats are made with ingredients found in human baking. And, while we do extensive product testing and tasting, our products are intended for dogs.

All of our treats are baked in the United States of America.
How many treats should I give my dog?
Much like snacks and treats for humans, treats are designed to be a snack only. They are not formulated to serve as a complete and balanced meal. We recommend that pet parents talk to their veterinarian on the appropriate amount to give to their specific dog.
How long do your treats last?
The shelf life of our treats is 18 months from date of baking. The “best before” date is printed on each package and is located on back or bottom.
Can I freeze the treats?
Yes, use appropriate freezer safe packaging.

Where is the expiration date (Best Before Date)?
On the back of the package.
Can I recycle the package?
Cardboard from our boxes is recyclable. Other plastic material is not.
